Last year's schedule came out in mid-September, so we have a while to wait. However, I found Winthrop at Xavier in Cincinnati on Saturday, Dec 16.
I've often wondered why with Kelsey's Ohio connections we never played at UC or Xavier.

Nov 6 - @ Clemson
Nov 17 - vs Holy Cross (Rock Hill Sports/Event Center)
Nov 18 - vs IUPUI (Rock Hill Sports/Event Center)
Nov 19 - vs Elon (Rock Hill Sports/Event Center)
Nov 24 - @ Georgia
Dec 2 - @ Coastal Carolina
Dec 5 - Queens
Dec 16 - @ Xavier
WU is hosting a 4-team round-robin event at the Rock Hill Sports/Event Center on Nov 17-19, which should be interesting. There is still room for up to 7 more games, and one will be Homecoming, which is scheduled for Nov 11.

Florida State is on the Winthrop hit list as well. Winthrop "hit list." I like it! Not just FSU, but USC, and the ever-dangerous Toccoa Falls. I'd love to see another weekday 11 AM start with about 3000 screaming Rock Hill school kids in the house. I don't think Maryland Eastern Shore knows what hit them about 5 years ago; their ears must have been ringing for days, mine were. |

OOC schedule posted today. Drexel for homecoming. Yikes, that's a good program. Them, Xavier, USC, UGA, Coastal, FSU, Clemson all add up to a tough schedule. I like it! Add them all to the Winthrop "hit list!"
Not too crazy about the 3 non-D1 opponents but that's the way it goes. Queens is no pushover and Elon beat us last year so there is plenty of competition.

Entire schedule now posted, no start times. 13 home games plus 3 at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center.
Surprised to see that the BSC tournament is at High Point this year. I thought the tournament was going to be at Bojangles again, evidently not.
Edit 10/2/23: Winthrop called me about renewing my season tix last week and said that the games in the Rock Hill Events Center WILL be included in the season ticket package. Not bad, I'll believe it when I see it. Seating for those 3 games will be all general admission.

Maybe off topic, but went to " Eagle Madness" kick off last night. Talford in a boot? Not too good. Need him to beat Clemson & Drexel.
By the way, that RH Event Center is really nice. Hope the place is filled up in a couple of weeks for the weekend tournament.
