Only my opinion, but this season was disappointing. Fairly lackluster in the non-conference (with the exception of a great game against LSU) and middle of the pack during conference play. No one knows what next year's roster will look like, but Hightower will be moving on. I love this team and believe that Talford and Harrison can be the core of a really great Eagles squad. I also really believe in the talent and potential of Lane and McKelvy. If a couple of the stalwarts stay (thinking of Anumba and Claxton here), I think this team could return to the top of the Big South.

Have we lost anyone to the Portal?
I agree. Campbell is leaving, Longwood is losing a ton of talent. WU could be pretty good next year....but Prosser has got to develop some talent. The one and done via the transfer portal hasn't worked as expected.

The one and done via the transfer portal hasn't worked as expected. Toneari Lane (Georgia State), Howie Fleming, and Cam Whiteside all entered the portal. Along with Cory being done with his eligibility. Have freshman Noah Van Bibber from Concord Academy in NC coming in, and just got a transfer commitment from KJ Doucet from D2 Fort Valley State..the SIAC player of the year as a sophomore this past year. Chase and Mike are confirmed back for another season. And Talford apparently won't enter the portal. So currently two open spots to fill |
