UNCG

What a opener.  This team is legit deep.  UNCG is a quality team and we just wore them out.  Defensively we look better than last year and added even more athletes to the stable with Arms/Talford/Lane.  We are long, deep, and athletic.  And all this without Russ and Chase playing tonight.

Arms is legit---he's going to be a 20 ppg scorer in the Big South (if he plays enough minutes with all this depth)---he was shaky with the ball with too many turnovers but hopefully just first game jitters and getting adjusted.  But he's a freak athlete and he's quick as hell first step.  

Talford looked like a Chase clone, all over the place and active.  His energy was awesome and finished well around the basket and looked good at the line.  Really impressive first college game.  

Lane didn't have his shot tonight but he looked active defensively and on the glass.

Vaudrin played great---close to a triple double and might be the best game manager we've ever had save for maybe Chris Gaynor.  And made free throws.  If he makes free throws, he's player of the year in the Big South.  Won't get it because his PPG won't be high enough for voters but he's the best player in the league if he hits free throws, no questions asked.

Hope DJ isn't hurt.
