Lots of tears in Radford last night; kind of made me giggle a little bit but I tried to control myself so I wouldn't get my ass beat. Hampton is going to be trouble, Marrow and Stanley are warriors. However, I prefer to look at it as not can we stop Marrow and Stanley, but can Hampton stop Ferguson, Hale, Vaudron, Falden, et al.
If you can't decide whether or not to go, go to see the Hampton dance team the "Ebony Fire". Impressive.
Ticket office says sales are brisk.

Another championship. How many now? 12?
Gotta love it.
We have a special team this year. What a year. And so many good freshmen.
Special shout out to Chase Claxton. That guy won us the game today with his defense on marrow. He has a little mantoris Robinson in him, and that’s the highest compliment I can give. What a huge game by that kid. So happy we have him for 3 more years. Going to win a lot of games with him in uniform.

I agree Chase is special, but he needs to eat a sammich. Another ten pounds or so on him should help.
Overall I really like Vaudren but I have to admit I wasn't heartbroken when he fouled out in the last couple of minutes.
Man, if we had hit just 2 or 3 more of our 3's in the first half this wouldn't have even been a game.
Oh well, survive and advance. I hope we avoid the dreaded Tues/Wed play-in game but beggars can't be choosers.
