Another L in the books!
Got F***ed by the officials, but aside from that, we look lost.

We definitely got the hose (DJ in particular) but Furman is just a good team, particularly offensively.
Another small gunner torched us, which has happened twice now since Russ has been out. We just don't have someone to stay with that type with him out other than Anumba, and he's usually assigned the toughest wing/all around scorer.
They also presented the pretty unique problem of having 5 guys all on the court that can play/shoot on the perimeter, without totally sacrificing rebounding/interior. Even if DJ stayed on the court, he can't guard athletic bigs who can shoot the 3 out there. If Kelsey is never going to play zone (and he isn't) then in those types of games DJ is unplayable unless he can lose some weight and get quicker in the future. Thankfully I have trouble of thinking of Big South teams who have those types of guys on that level, so probably won't be a big issue in conference save for maybe UNCA (and surprisingly Presby maybe).
Tough game. Thankfully this non conference gauntlet is over. We need to get healthy for conference play. Corbin was in a boot tonight, and Russ is still out, and announcers mentioned Vaudrin was heavily taped.
We need to get a couple of easy W's in these next two and get on a big streak in conference, which I think will happen.
