I just wanted to begin my Winthrop basketball forum resurgence by starting the first game day thread of the season.

Any thoughts on starting 5 today?

How do we stand up against Southern Illinois?

Anyone with pre-season insight into how this team looks?

I'll be at the game tonight, and I'm pretty excited to see a fresh new team get the season underway. A lot will be revealed tonight that should indefinitely provide heavy insight into the season and the team's potential.

I will be at the game today. I can’t wait to get the season started. We need to share this site because I miss going to the old site and following all the news. I’m hoping for a good start to the season and really interested to see who starts.
