1200 Sunday 7 March, #3 Campbell @ #1 Winthrop. ESPN network
C'mon guys, one more game. The optimist in me sees a tight first half and then a convincing win. The pessimist in me saw Campbell easily dispatch Radford Thursday night in their 9th straight win. If our guys play their lock down defense, even if 3's aren't falling, this game can be won. Go Eagles!

Congrats to our Eagles! Blew all all three opponents in the tourney. Coach Kelsey and his staff have done an amazing job of keeping them hungry and focused. This basketball team is so dominant on the defensive end, they don’t have many lapses. Everybody has bad days on offense from time to time, but this team almost ALWAYS brings it on “D”.
Special basketball team and I’m looking forward to seeing what we do in the big dance. Go Eagles!!

Sweet win! Never in doubt? Yeah, maybe a little. When Chandler picked up his 2nd foul early in first half I was a bit worried, but it turns out I had no reason to be. Wow, so great watching CU run their vaunted Princeton offence for 25 seconds and then have to settle for a long 2 or low percentage 3. I didn't count but it didn't seem like CU got more than maybe 5 layups the entire game.
I think I saw that 2 or 3 mid-major #1 seeds have fallen in their conference tournaments so far. Nice, a 12 or maybe a 11 seed is a real possibility for our guys. Going to be a long wait for the tournament selection show.
Gotta go, need to watch the game on DVR.

How the heck is Winthrop (23-1) not ranked 24th or 25th in the AP poll? Yet an Oklahoma team with nine losses is ranked. We don’t have any quad 1 wins, I get that. Homer or not, 23-1 should get you ranked all day everyday.
