Time to start a new winning streak. Last game was a lesson in why you don’t succeed in ISO ball. Gotta move that ball and good things will happen. There was too much 1 on 1 and not enough swinging it and finding the open man.
If it’s a nail biter at the end of the game, I’m sorry but Russell Jones Jr needs to be the primary ball handler. Not Vauldrin. I’ve got nothing but love for the kid but Jones is the better ball handler and free throw shooter. Not to mention it’s harder to take the ball away from him.
I hope Kelsey plays Corbin and Talford more. They’ve earned it. And one last thing, does DJ Burns still like playing basketball? Seems like he could care less and that’s sad, he’s so talented. They desperately need him to be dominate the 15 or so minutes they run him out there.

I hope Kelsey plays Corbin and Talford more. They’ve earned it. And one last thing, does DJ Burns still like playing basketball? Seems like he could care less and that’s sad, he’s so talented. They desperately need him to be dominate the 15 or so minutes they run him out there. Ddt is spot on. I hope Burns comes around soon, when he's "on" no one in this league can stop him. I don't want to see a talent like this playing for USC Aiken or Francis Marion next season. OK guys, time to lace 'em up. UNCA was 2 weeks ago, seems like two months ago. We're only one game up on Radford in the loss column; we could live with a split but really need a sweep. |

Corbin and Claxton, you guys are good now and I'm already excited about the next 2 years. Keep it up please.
Vaudrin, just keep on taking it to the rack. You can control games and can't be stopped. Just keep on making those free throws because you're going to draw tons of fouls.
Anumba, Falden, Zunic, Talford, keep on doing what you're doing because it's working.
After watching this game, WTF happened against UNCA? Doesn't matter now, as long as it's fixed.
Didn't see much of Jones Jr. in last 10 minutes when Radford was bringing pressure. He did come back in at the very end. I agree with daledumptruck that Jones Jr. may be the better option for ball handling in crunch time.
Arms didn't play; "coach's decision". Wow, hope he gets off Kelsey's $hit list soon. On any given night he can score like Corbin and/or rebound like Claxton or Vaudrin.
Overall great win!!! Damn COVID, I should have been at that game. Oh well, it's not about me. Go get them again tonight!

That was the ugliest.....but it was a win and that’s all that matters. Keep striving to get better.
Winthrop’s brand of ball is beautiful to watch when the ball is moving and the decision making is on point. I want to see Chandler protect the ball better, each possession is valuable.
Another area where we can improve.... be decisive with shot taking. Stop with this hesitation crap. If you’re gonna fire it, fire on the initial. Rhythm of the game is your friend.
Bearing a total collapse, I think it’s safe to say the conference tourney will be in Rock Hill. The Eagles have a chance to be really special here in the next 6-8 weeks. Keep getting better and don’t settle/or play down to the competition.
