Yep, I'm spoiled; "only" a 16 point win Monday against a short-handed CSU club. I hope one of these days the slow start and poor free throw shooting don't burn us. Speaking of "burn", tomorrow Burns goes off for 14+ points after an off day today.

Me, the great basketball know-it-all yesterday: "Tomorrow Burns goes off for 14+ points after an off day today". Not quite.
First of all, survive and advance. We did that today. I hope a win like today's is a character builder and will help in future close games. I can see more games like this the remainder of the season as each conference team will want to knock off the king of the hill.
Started the season 9-0, best start in BSC history. That's great but it won't make a bit of difference in the big scheme of things. The record the Eagles broke belonged to Radford in 1990-91 who started 8-0. How did that work out for the Highlanders? They finished 2nd in regular season standings to Coastal and lost in the tournament to Augusta State. Coastal was the eventual tournament champions.
