Wow, that game was too close for comfort. Great plays down the stretch from Anumba and some clutch shooting by Vaudrin and Falden were the difference.
What are your expectations for the rematch?
I suspect they will shoot much better and the coaching staff will reinforce the importance of guarding against the backdoor cuts. I'm also hopeful that Burns will get more minutes/shots and be a huge advantage in the paint.

Considering we shot extremely poorly, they shot (and made tough contested shots) well, and the game oddly was never really in doubt despite the final score, you have to think that’s a good outcome, most teams lose that game. Let’s see tomorrow. Hopefully we get a looser whistle just to make watching more enjoyable. Such a weird game. |

Much better results in today's (Thursday) 2nd game vs Campbell. Before yesterday's game maybe a little too much thinking of the lofty poll ranking? Anyway Wednesday's game performance certainly gave Kelsey opportunities to teach and make tweaks before game #2.
Vaudrin is unbelievable, Burns is unstoppable. But if they're having a bad day just go to Arms, Faulden, Anumba, Corbin, and the rest. Sure was nice of Campbell to keep fouling Vaudrin to allow him to score to complete the triple double. What a team! Please stay healthy!
The espn+ production is not all that good but it's good enough to watch. I recommend it, every game in the BSC is available to watch; less than $6/month.

That game was alot of fun. Like you said, Vaudrin and Burns are amazing. But it is really exciting to see just how good other players in the rotation can be... Falden, Claxton and Arms really stepped up. It's really fun to follow this team. Go Eagles!
