Hi all. I am a High Point alumni and a big fan of all things Big South. I enjoy the rivalry our schools have had but I am a bit thrown off by a few things in your program. Do you all like Kelsey? He has a massive amount of success with this being his first job, but I think the social media does too much focusing on him and his son. I went to a game a few years back when we still had John Brown on the team and I remember seeing Kelsey with his daughters, but now all I see is pictures with him and his son as well as watching games with his son sitting on the bench. Does that show a lack of professionalism on the bench? Just curious where the Winthrop fans stand on this.

I'm not sure how most feel, but when it comes to me and my Winthrop friends we like how he coaches offense, recruits, and motivate. But we don't like how he coaches defense and how it seems at the end of every season he actively looking to bounce to another school no matter if it is a step up or lateral move. I don't blame him if he leaves us for a better job, but mostly it's been lower tier schools that he has been rumored interviewing for.

punisher: Winthrop Baseball is in need for a change at the top, nothing personal but Tom is not a fit, and with 6 or 7 of the teams in the conference above 200 RPI, this woefully underperforming situation calls for a move in what is a poor conference. May 1, 2022 18:35:11 GMT -5
