Continuing to Choke

This team has continued to get worse by the game. We'll likely lose a first round conference tournament game at this rate, especially since it's seemingly going to be at Radford.

They should get an award for biggest coaching choke job of the year. I mean, this is truly bad.


Again, we have no offensive rhythm, spacing, movement off ball. We're disorganized, and can't get into the paint anymore. Defense is always such a big point that Kelsey harps on year in and year out, yet we struggle all the time! 


Also, don't throw "kenpom stats" at me as an excuse for anyone. Kenpom doesn't account for situational plays. It can't tell that a missed shot is also a forced shot/poor decision. It can't tell that a botched play and turnover on a critical possession is different than any other possession. This team is careless with the basketball, and undisciplined to the 10th degree. It's a shame because the talent is there. The eye test is the true evaluator. 

The good teams learn how to survive and tough out wins when they aren't hot offensively. We have not. 

At this point, I'm just hoping we can turn it around for the tournament, because right now we look lost.
