All we had to do was shoot better than 33% from the free throw line to win. OR better than 29% from 3pt land.
It's weird to see a Kelsey era team shoot so bad. What gives? This game was very winnable, but we kept shooting ourselves in the foot.

I think the shooting will improve. A) both St. Mary's and ETSU were playing to take the 3 away at least initially and B) Looking at the stats, it's hard to imagine guys like Falden (who's slumped out of the gate) and a couple of the freshmen continuing to miss like they have from 3. Usually it takes a run of games for freshmen shooters to adjust to size and speed of the game---I think guys like Russ will definitely shoot better as time goes on.

Yea, I agree. Freshmen always go through an adjustment phase.
I have to say - It was refreshing to see Josh Corbin find his shot at Homecoming. Granted, our opponent was not much of a challenge, it's still important to see the ball going through the hoop to get your confidence back. Hopefully we start seeing him knock a few down each game. Honestly surprised he hasn't seen the court more, but I believe that was a defensive issue.
