Only 3 weeks left in the regular season, and WU has picked up a couple of wins in a row (@ CSU, vs. HU) to right the ship a little bit after the PC & RAD losses. Radford's in the driver's seat for the #1 seed, but they have a tough schedule to finish the season...Winthrop's road is pretty tough as well, and Campbell is still in the mix for the top spot with the easiest road left.
Current Standings: 1. RAD 10-1
2. WU 8-3
3. CU 7-3
4. PC 7-4
5. HPU 6-4
T6. CSU 5-5
T6. GWU 5-5
T6. HU 5-5
9. LW 3-8
T10. AVL 1-10
T10. UPST 1-10
Radford's remaining schedule: @ CSU vs. WU vs. HU @ HPU @ CU
Winthrop's remaining schedule: vs. PC @ GWU @ RAD vs. CSU @ HU
Campbell's remaining schedule: vs. HU @ PC vs. HPU @ LW @ UPST vs. RAD
I can definitely see Radford dropping two games down the stretch, as they've been living on the edge the last week or so with a couple of OT wins. But can either WU or CU run the table to take over the #1 spot? Tough for either one to do so...but not impossible.

Down this final stretch I just hope we can hold on to finishing 2nd and maybe if Radford can go on a losing streak we can claim that top spot.

Nice summary WEF. I can see Radford losing a game or two, but I have no confidence that WU will win out. I'm hoping that we can hold 2nd place, someone knocks off Radford in the tournament, and the championship game is back here in "RockTheHill". Oh well, lots of hoops to play before then, starting with tonight.

Nice job withstanding PC's hot shooting in the first half and coming away with the win. Campbell beat Hampton last night (behind 48 from Clemons?!?)...and High Point lost to Longwood...so RAD/WU/CU have separated themselves from the rest of the pack a bit. Would take something crazy for someone other than those three to finish #1 at this point.
Saturday will be interesting. Radford's at the BucDome, Winthrop's at Gardner-Webb (and GWU hasn't lost at home during conference play yet), and Campbell's at PC (and PC hasn't lost at home during conference play yet either). I'll be surprised if all three teams win...hopefully WU can come away with the win, and maybe the Bucs can help out as well.

Dang, we sure blew a chance to gain a lot of ground today. Winthrop, Radford, and Campbell all lost. PC is the big winner today as they creep up the rankings. Man, they're tough at home. I don't think we'll catch Radford, but it's still a big game this Thursday up at their place.

But also because then WU would only be a half game back and Radford still has losable games down the stretch.
